If you take 81, make sure your towing vehicle is up to snuff because 81 is very hilly. Underpowered tow vehicle will make the trip a bit scary!

Have you done your numbers?
Trailer weight..vehicle towing capacity...horsepower needed to tow..
Hitch capacity..bumper mount or frame mounted?
Anti sway cape ability.. Yes..no..
Electric brake hookup on your vehicle...Electric brake controller adjustments...
All the factors to tow safely with your new vehicle.
I hope all the answers are correct...You don't want your trailer to be doing the samba going down the road..it can drive your stomach up in your throat! LOL
I know you will hate me for this, because it will make you sit and think about it, maybe just a little!

I learned last year, that doing the numbers does help.
My truck is underpowered, so, I had to be aware of all the hills and had to use my four way flashers at times because at the end of the hill, we were going well below the speed limit.
That's why I am crunching numbers again this year!

Sure it is, but from NH to Georgia, there are some long hills that will suck the horsepower out of your truck!
& that was 95, not 81, which has more hills!

Thanks, hope she is reading the site.
