I Survived and Thrive!! A nearly-fatal motorcycle accident. Live DOES go on!!

I was in a near-fatal motorcycle accident in April 2013 which put me permanently in a wheelchair. (It has 6 wheels - I call it my "double-trike"). For whatever reason, I have been able to move forward with my life with good cheer. I know others of you have had similarly life-changing events in their live. I hope I can provide some uplifting input.

Several months ago I was put in contact with a university journalism student who needed to do a documentary video for her senior project. She and I had a similar goal - to make a video that would be inspirational and uplifting. I thought she succeeded extremely well.

There are references in the video to my faith. I hope the references are not any any way off-putting. Instead, I hope they help you connect with whatever anchor you use to ground yourself in this turbulent world.

I know Gene both from before and after. This would have put anybody else in a vegetative state but not Gene. His Dedication both to his healing and his faith is an inspiration to us all. Keep on keeping on Gene, we are with you.
