howdy folks. just found this forum whilst out about on the grand interwebs looking for information on getting a conversion done on my 06 VTX 1300C spent a good part of last night perusing through the board and think I am going to get more information here then i have on all the other avenues i have tried so far. still havent nailed down which conversionkit i will get. i do know i want disc brakes and if possible fuel tank in the thing somewhere and tow hitch so i can drag the leeurlite behind me in the summer escape mode. been lookin at the champion kit with the IRS rear end. but havent made up my mind if the IFS over the standard axle configuration will be better at the higher cost of the kit. still scratching my head so far. with the skinny tire and single disc up front the better brakes and not having to crawl under it much to adjust things is the way to go. drums are ok but heavy and a pain compared to disc set up. I already have a batwing style fairing on the thing and a top case so the case will be a must have transfer unit.
still not figured out if i want to have it painted or just get it black gell and do a dip coat on it.
