1994 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500: Rear brake light has worked sporadically since I got the bike in 2013; then a few months ago quit working altogether. The front brake light continued to work properly until a week or so ago and then it began only working some of the time, and the last few days it has also quit working totally.
I am told it is probably the respective switches. I am asking anyone reading this to give me your opinion before I take it in to the shop and have to go thru a bunch of diagnostics and time ($$$$) to get it repaired.
From what I can determine the switches are not expensive, but the labor might be. Any suggestions are very welcome. Thanls

Have you tried cleaning the switches? They get gunked up and can act up if not kept clean. Might be a simple fix...

Seems like a great light switches! Do you have the picture of these light switches? I just want to see the condition of these switches. It would be appreciable if you share the images.
