TrikeTalk Rally IV - 2011 Dont Miss It!

Re: TrikeTalk Rally IV---2011

:( we ever gonna have TT somewhat closer to the left coast???:(:( Feel left out!!! You folk are having all the fun. Couple more years to retirement & then:)

Sadly wherever we plan the annual rally there will be a good share of the membership that just can't travel that far for it, Ghalib. Why don't you start an annual gathering/mini-rally in California like the New England group did this year. Just a relaxed, family-reunion-feel to get acquainted, share a meal, take a ride, and have some fun.

The first two TT Rallies were just like that, with 12-15 people showing up. But the response was so positive, that we decided to plan bigger this year....... and what fun all 63 of us had! I think we will double in size for next year.

Hopefully you all will some time be able to come for the main rally, but there is no reason why you can't have a West Coast gathering annually. Who knows, maybe one day we'll be able to ride out and share in it with you!

Nana: I have been toying with that idea. One of these days I am going to contact all the CA, AR, OR & WA etc area riders to see if there is any interest. Some ones gotta do it ! rgds. Ghalib

We are in the Smokey mountains and just went to Maggy Valley and booked a camp site (F06) at the Stone bridge CG for the Rally 6/23 - 6/27/11. We were the first to book a site at the Camp ground. We're ready to Go.

Not if our plans come to fruition - Central Texas to Yellowstone to Glacier to Banff (Alberta, Canada) to Montreal to Niagara Falls to Pittsburgh to Maggie Valley to Knoxville to Memphis to Central Texas. 8000+ miles.

If you haven't been on Route 66 before (or even if you have), it's a real experience to ride such an historical route! We had a great time in August seeing all the little towns.
