Just thought I would share my excitement !!!

'The Guy' called at 2 pm today to tell me that the Trike is done, come and get it. I promptly called Nana so we could meet and she could see the Trike.

I took it for a spin around the block, but first scraped my boot on the new fender, then I almost hit the left back tire on a car leaving the driveway !! Anyways, the scuff came off and I didn't hit the car.. all is good, I was pretty sure 'The Guy' was gonna have a heart attack !

So we got it in the truck and drove 1 1/2 hours home, one of the longest 1 1/2 hours.. got it off the truck and went for a ride, first to get gas,, there was a VW trike there and 3 guys came over to take a look, very nice. Then we went to our favorite ice creme place.. Yummy.

I have gotta tell ya, you guys and gals were so right about how much fun trikes are..

I felt so much more confident now that I didn't have to worry about the balance issue, sometimes my balance is good, sometimes not..hence the reason for the trike.

Thank you Nana,, 'The Guy' was really great, he told me 'Now listen, the front end will be a little bouncy, hold on loosely, and watch your fenders' I really like him.

Anyway, the pictures are in the gallery if anyone wants to take a peek !!

Hey congrats on the new trike,,, U R not the first to forget there are fenders out there :D the more U ride it the more U R going to love it... Now get all the bugs off ur teeth :p Remember the trike is only the starter kit, U will have more to add to it...

Ride safe and enjoy

Congratulations!!!!!!! It will only get better. HA HA Listen to me...I have only been riding a trike a few weeks. Actually I should say I have owned a trike for a few weeks because I have not been able to ride much at all. I had shoulder surgery on a Thursday and they delivered my trike the next Tuesday. I have a few miles on her but can't wait until I can really get out and do a lot of riding. What little riding I have been able to do was fantastic. Go out tomorrow and do a ride just for me if you can. Thanks! Congrats again.

Sarge, I am just over here in Alabama. If U want I will come over and ride ur trike around for U,,, Just to help U out...:p

Hope ur shoulder gets better soon...

I've got to tell you guys, Stormy's trike is beautiful!!!! When you go to her display in the GARAGE, you'll see for yourself how good that Frankenstein kit looks on her sporty!

It was a delight to meet both you and Scott. I am so sorry my dead battery delayed my getting there, and I hope it didn't hold you guys up too much!

Sarge, I will keep you in mind when I am riding tomorrow !

Nana, you did not hold me up at all , I really like talking to Larry. Scott said he would be interested in the event next year so we will look into it. I have horses so finding a babysitter can sometimes be an issue..

Katfish...the wife said to come on over, but you will have to let her ride with you. She loves riding as much as I do. I am going to teach her to operate our girl as soon as I can so she can ride herself around.

Stormy: Congrats on the new Trike, pictures look great. When you first start to ride the trikes you have a tendency to forget about the fenders back there, be careful when pulling up to the pumps. As each day goes by your gonna love it more & more....
