Has anyone experienced water getting in the connector compartment behind the taillights? On my wife's 2015 Freewheeler when riding in the rain water comes off the rear tires and getting in through the cable hole in the fender. It fried the connector board and the taillight. Thankfully still under warranty. I am thinking of filling the hole on both sides with Silicone.

Don, a friend of mine had that same issue. The input connector under the fender does not seal well. Clean off that area real good a use silicone sealer to coat the area. It's a pretty good size hole and sort of difficult to get at. Taking the wheels off makes it easy. Don't be afraid to put plenty of sealer on and let it cure over night at least before riding.

Do a search , Or you can wait for someone to chime in 'If i remember correctly there were a few Freewheelers that posted about having/had that problem...:Shrug:
LED tail lights??? Do it, I went through 3 sets before one of the service writers and I made a gasket out of gasket parts and silicone, so far it has done the trick.... I have 16 oz of water in one side and 8 in the other.

I unscrewed the lights to seal the openings with silicone. So far, so good.
