Sorry for all the questions I'm posting but have yet another. Do Goldwing come with the clear driving or fog lights that I see mounted on some of the trikes I looked at? I've noticed some have what looks like grey covers or inserts. If added what's a good brand and type?

Brian the fog lights in the front lower cowl are optional. If someone has put a gray cover over them it is for the "COOL FACTOR" not function. I do recommend the dark AMBER ones though. You will not believe how much more visible to the cages they are over the clear lenses. Cee Baileys, here is the link, http://www.ceebaileys.com/honda-gl-1...2001-2010-pair have the best quality and the correct shade of amber. I had to have them send me a piece of 7.5 inch flat stock so I could make my own for my 2015. They do not make the correct shape.

As for brand I can't help you because there are so many and such a wide cost spread.

LED is expensive but move visible and should last much longer.

I hope that helps.. :xszpv: :xszpv:

The new GL1800 doesn't come with the lights but the lower fairing has cut-outs where the after purchase accessory can be installed. Show Chrome makes a good inexpensive set that is easy to install. This plug and play light kit is around $200.00.

There are many aftermarket manufacturers as well as Honda that make this add-on.

Thanks for info guys. Is there a factory switch already prewired for them? On my Stratoliner it didn't come with the passing lamps from factory but Yamaha did have a prewired switch already on bars.

Nope but the wiring is in the harness. All you have to do it plug in the supplied goodies. Installing the switch (lower right in Lee's picture) is a bit tricky but not difficult.
