Yep, my Buddy Michael in Chattanooga is a Regional Director for MSF and an Advanced Course Instructor. He gave me these stats at Lunch one day on a ride to Beas Restaurant. Fantastic Rider and AMA/WERA Racer too.....

Yep, and not just the young ones either! My friend is an instructor, and she says they're seeing a LOT of "older" women taking the course! I also moderate a forum for women riders, and it's amazing how many newbies are in their 50's and 60's...heck, I was 46 when I got my license!
