OK, I am seriously considerin' buyin' a set of these. I'm wonderin' about Folks personal pros and cons on em'. I got nothing but good responses to my questions at this year's RALLY from Owners. Just wonderin' if Anyone has had any bad issues of any kind before I purchase them.

I borrowed a Buddy's Gold Wing 1800 2-wheeler yesterday that has em', and I could even direct air onto Mitzie on the back. Seems/Looks like a Great accessory. No, I'm not interested in the lower body mount ones...I hate the looks too much to put em' on my Trike (I apologize for this statement to Anyone that has em', but it's just my "personal" opinion...;)), but I could live with the Mirror Mount Type......THANKS for any responses and opinions I get here...:wtg:

The real intention of the mirror wings is to direct wind off the passenger, which is also the intent of the upper/lower air wings, also to redirect air onto you on those hot days.
I agree w/the "looks" of the upper/lower air wings however, I ended up w/both items as well as a taller/wider windshield to settle the buffeting my wife was suffering on the bike.
You would think on the great 'Gold Wing' a little air management could have been designed in too make the calm air pocket include the passenger!
Yes, it is a motorcycle. Yes, one should expect wind. But, one should not have to endure wind that seems to be redirected by the design of the bike itself to "blast" right at the passenger at highway cruising speeds.

When I got my trike one of the first thing I was encouraged to install were Baker Wings with lowers. I am so glad I did. They have a two-fold purpose:

To deflect engine heat away from you in the summer.

To deflect engine heat towards you in the winter.

Redneckray, hang on and I will take a photo of mine and post them a bit mas tarde.

Baker wings. View from outside of wing and view from inside of wing. They are on each side of the bike and installation took about 45 minutes including drilling the hole for the screw to mount the wings to the fairing.
Ahhh those things, been using them on my vw trikes for a long time, also use them on t-buckets to direct the airflow,
thanks for the pics.

I bought a pair of Baker Built Air Wings and have them mounted on my windshield. My biggest complaint is that they have a tendency to spin around going 70mph. They are great at slower speeds and help keep you cooler, but as I said they are hard to keep in one place. If you mount them low on the windshield, they do block your vision on your mirrors. I raised mine up and it also cut down on the vibration on the windshield.

I have all the Baker Wings on my Trike.
Mirrors, Fairing and Trike Leg Wings(these are twice as big as the ones for 2 wheelers).
Those, along with my X-Tall Tulsa w/v, do a great job for us.
As a side note, I have the clear Bakers and from a distance, you cann't tell they are on the Trike.
