I received a couple pictures of my Goldwing being converted to a Prowler RT. The mechanic is checking the bike out before mounting the body panels. I will pick it up next week when the weather clears enough for me to get to the shop which is 300 miles from home. No closer shops to home were set up to do the conversion.

I LIKE that blue. It will make for a very impressive looking RT when done.

I like this, I have a rear wheel trike. Anyone others with this style, how do they handle? I would guess they would be smoother and a very nice ride. Same color as mine. Maybe that's why I really like it.. <grin>

Bet you can't wait to pick it up.

It won't take you long to get used to the steering. At speeds under 5 MPH it will be a bit heavy but easily managed. Above 5 MPH it becomes progressively much lighter and quick. Early on you will over steer a bit but become accustomed to it very quickly.

You'll find the handling and stability better than when on two wheels.

Have fun ! ! !

Handling is great. I am able to take turns at a higher speed with greater stability and control then when on two wheels and I've done my fair share of floorboard scraping on two wheels. A conventional two in the rear trike can turn a little bit tighter than I am able but not by much.

thanks for the post/info:clapping:

John -

Thanks for the heads up. I am a little surprised that they would post them given that the grill is missing.

Dave
Just a heads up - cleaning bugs out from behind the grill is a pain.

It took a bit of time until my front bumper came in. I'm sure they are catching up so you shouldn't have to long a wait for yours.

Update question on how you like your trike

I know this an old thread (8 months or so), but as I am new to the forum, I was wondering if you could update us on how your like your reverse trike?

I am currently a non-trike rider but I have started investigating reverse trikes and have seen lots of threads talking about the cosmetics (lots of opinions there), but very few that tell me what the owners think of the trike and its handling.

Maybe I am just not searching well enough, but I am learning a lot about all kinds of conversions.

I love my Prowler RT on my 2004 Honda GL1800. Only problem is that you can't make tight U-turns. Wide turning radius.2021-12-01 014.jpg
