The Misses and I went to Ohio last month to give my Mom a hand after she broke her arm, we arrived on a Monday and had a great visit in the rehab facility, she ate her dinner with us there and told us to go out and get something to eat because the food was awful there, lol. While we were eating we got a call that she was having a stroke and we rushed to the hospital, she never regained consciousness and we lost her 2 days later on March 22, she would have been 95 on the 26th of March.

My Mom was quite the individual, a very strong independent lady who outlived 2 husbands and travelled the world, may she Rest in Peace.

Very sorry for your loss, Gary. My mother-in-law is 100 years old, still does her hair and make-up every day and is up and around with her walker. Father-in-law turns 94 on the 18th and is ornery as all get out. They're in assisted living but doing well. Do not wish that phone call on anyone, dread the day we get it.

Gary,

SO very sorry to hear of your loss, cherish the memories you have. I lost my parents in their early 80's but am thankful every day for our times together.

Prayers to you and your family as you deal with this loss.

Dave

So very sorry for your loss. It's a very empty feeling I know all too well. My wife and I just lost her mother a few months ago at 92 years old. Same cause. Stroke that she just didn't recover from. It was a very sad day when she said she wanted to home from the rehab even though she wasn't ready. We both knew what she meant by GO HOME. Condolences and prayer sent your way.

Sorry to hear about the loss of you mother Gary. It is something we all must go through but we are never really ready for it. Prayers for your family.

Ed and Betty
