Motor Trike kit problem with the installation. I talk to the factory and they said I could bring it to Troup. I took it in on Monday morning and in one day Richard corrected the problem and mounted the after market seat. I'm very pleased with their work, and I had a very good experience. I would recommend a Motor Trike kit to any one needing a trike kit, I am very pleased with mine.:clapping:

It would be helpful to know what model MT you have and the nature of the problem. It might help someone else out.

Thanks!

I am so happy that You got Your problem straightend Out.

Joel, I am so happy that You are now satisfied with New Motor Trike kit, on Your 1997 Honda Goldwing and I wish for You and Genie, Many more happy days, in riding together.

Your friend forever

I have owned a Goldwing Motor Trike (totaled and almost me, too). Now own a Stallion. Plus a Prowler being delivered today. The Goldwing dropped the driveshaft which also damaged the output shaft of the engine. Motor Trike repaired at no cost. With the Stallion the wife and I got caught out in tropical storm Bill and came to a FULL understanding of weather NOT to ride in. The Stallion didn't like it at all and protested mightily. Motor Trike repaired everything back to correct working order at no charge, installed some upgrades, and installed new brakes at the price of the components. That kind of service cannot be matched. Can't wait for the Prowler to get here. The wife and I worked pretty hard yesterday making a place in the garage for storage. So far, for me, Motor Trike has stood behind their product far beyond anything anyone should reasonably expect. I highly recommend this company.

Curious, what was the problem? Recently had my '10 Wing done and had body mounting issues which would not allow my aftermarket Ultimate seat to mount or the drivers left side panel to lock into all three grommets. I have the Razor kit.

Kevin did you get the problems straightened out?

Interesting. I had the same problem at highway speed on a Goldwing Motor Trike. The yoke of the drive shaft dug a huge hole in the frame and bent the drive shaft. Motor Trike said I could ship it to them and they would look at it. WELDING THE HOLE IS NOT A SAFE REPAIR. Be sure to have someone look at your frame and make sure it is ok.

Hi Gary,

Did MotorTrike tell you why the shaft dropped?....Just bought one....did you have differential "Whine". is it normal to hear whine because your sitting above it.

Thanks

Bill

Not Gary, but... MotorTrike has improved their driveshafts several times in the last few years. The newest (I think) has a green front u-joint, and it's fitted with a grease zerk. MT recommends greasing the u-joints (front & rear) every 5k miles. Since I change oil at 5k, I always know to grease the joints. I've put over 30k miles on mine this year, no problems at all.

I’ve been trying to find lights that will fit under the trunk and not interfere with the opening handles. The space between the trunk and fender may use the kuryakin 3231. I hate to buy them and have to send back. Has anyone here tried them?
