Custom Dynamics LED front turn signals

This is another upgrade I made to my 2017 Freewheeler.

At 1st. I just wanted to change over to LED's, but after seeing these in person, I had to have them. They are bright & really stand out & I've gotten several positive comments & lots of questions. These are the inserts that have white outer lights for running liguts & amber inner lights for blinkers.

They are can bus compatible with 2013 & newer Harleys & have a lifetime warranty. They sell for $89.99 most everywhere. My local HD dealer had them for that price & gives a 10% Vet's discount, so I gave him the business & he installed them for free.

A couple items of note. You have to change the amber front turn signal lens to clear or smoke.

Also, pulling the old bulbs generates an error code. You clear it once & the issue is resolved. Here is a link to the dealer's homepage:

I have been looking at upgrading mine also.

I checked out the custom dynamics and Ciro 3D Fang.

The biggest difference I have found it that the Ciro lights do not have the outer ring and the Turn signal runs white bulbs that are more like a driving light, and change to amber when you turn your turn signal on.

I believe they are a little more expensive.

Haven't made up my mind yet but am leaning to the Ciro lights.

Any input would be helpful.

I looked at both and went with Custom Dynamics. You getting basically the same function for a lot less. With the $30 I saved, I bought a Sylvania super bright red LED pair of bulbs for the back & Subway for lunch.

I went a different route, using the Stealth LED Front Turn Signals/White Driving Light combo.

For now I have left the factory front turn signals in place...but am planning on removing them.

These give off a lot of light, and are definitely noticeable...helping me SEE & BE SEEN.

I did my lights pretty much like Kevin. I have not added the ring lights to the forks, but the LED Stealth running lights sure are seen in the day time and let me see the road well at night. The yellow on the passing lights break up the pattern and help with being seen. I do have amber bullet lenses on the running/turn lights, gives a nice view from the side of the trike. Jim

2019 FW Custom Dynamics Probeam turns

I’ve read that removing the bulbs will throw a code when replacing them with pro beams. What’s the procedure for clearing the code? Thanks in advance.

When you get to the code, just hold the button down & it will clear. Mine just popped up once, upon installing & then all is well.
