My shocks will not hold pressure. (No wonder the ride is so hard) I am overwhelmed at the price of replacement shocks. (No more air, thank you) Probably Progressive shocks. I wonder, are shocks covered under warrenty > (2016 Tri-Glide )

Yes there covered, I went thru a pair from seal leaks. Then went to progressive, better ride after you dial them in. The new 14” are better than the old 13”.

Get with Kevin at DK Customs. He sells the Pro-Action shocks, I just bought a pair. Yes, a little spendy, but you won't be sorry. I only rode 3 miles yesterday down to the lighthouse to take some pics(34 degrees). I noticed the difference as soon as I left my driveway. I'm a quarter mile off the asphalt. The ride through the potholes was much much better, and when I got on the road, WOW what a difference! Like riding on a pillow! He will adjust them to your weight and also asks how much time you ride 2 up, and how much with a full load.

I'm a happy camper...

Have your mechanic take the shocks off and drain them. Refill each with 10 oz. of 10 weight shock oil. Check all the line connections AND the fill valve tightness. Better ride with less air pressure.

Try this first before you spend the big bucks.

Not to highjack the thread, but, would this work on my ultra limited too? Or would I use less oil?

OEM Shocks are covered under warranty.

Before spending $ on aftermarket shocks, check out this REPORT.

I have read of others doing this but from what I saw it isn't all that straightforward. H-D tells you it can't be done and the oem shocks are not serviceable. So I don't think a dealer's service department would do this. They'd replace them under warranty / ESP or sell you some new ones.

I've never been a fan of Progressive. Never had them but know many folks who have and had failures and reports that their customer service and warranty leaves a bit to be desired.

Like others have said get with Kevin at DK Customs for his 14" Pro-Action trike shocks. I guarantee you won't be disappointed and Kevin and DK stand behind their products 100%.

Got tired of my spine getting slammed on most bumps with the wife on. Ordered Pro Actions from DK Customs after much research. Were sent already set up. Installed them and what a ride. They do everything right and no more jolts. Ride the same 1up or 2. Best part is plug and play and forget them and the Best money I've spent on this adventure. 2015 tri, Had them on for 2 years.

Hey Thomas!

OMG YES! Get rid of those HD air shocks!

Get the 14" Progressive rear shock w/ Comfort Lift Combo Pkg from DK Customs for your tri glide (I just did) and see what a TriGlide is suppose to ride like!......I made a pretty detailed review on trike talk of this product a few weeks back that may help you decide.............I know their pricey, but "Damn, what a difference they made to my ride!".....I really know you'll like'em!

Ride Safe!

Fixed it for you...they are not progressive, but PA/DK shocks.

Here's the thread with the review- https://www.triketalk.com/forum/thr...rley-Trike-Pro-Action-Shocks-amp-Comfort-Lift

Sorry Kevin! Hey Thomas it's Pro Action 14" rear shocks not Progressive!

A thousand pardons! They are Pro Action 14" shocks w/Comfort lift Combo!

.......Very stupid of me... Just typed too fast after reading about the complaint on the Progressives earlier I guess.

......well at least I sent him to the right place! You'll know what he needs!

(nobody listens to me anyway)

Really, very sorry for the mistake.

Ran stock air shocks for ~75000 miles and put DK NextGen 14" shocks and lift kit on.

Hands down wished I had put them or the Pro Action 14" shocks (all they had at the time) on when I had 500 miles on.

My wife really noticed the difference too!!

They are so much better than stock you won't believe it.

I'll admit I have a lot of DK products on Tri Glide and can say that I have never been disappointed in what they have produced.

Just my opinion, worth what you paid for it.

Bob
