Rebel RT

Wiring sucks

With the correct Honda wiring diagram and a street rod wiring booklet, like Speedway sells, you should be all set. Take your time and it can be somewhat enjoyable.
Thank You Larry, I am hoping with the original harness it will be "PlugNplay" I started at the spark plugs and won't be using the idiot lights or speedo but will try to use the ignition switch, everything is close, I might have to raise the Battery? and from there it's 9 wires to the rear lights. Right now I just want to see the fit and mounts, so far so good? :clapping:

SuperBowl

What's a SuperBowl? Boards-Wiring.jpg Floor boards and wiring for me today, Got the LED brake and tail light working to the main harness, Oh, can't forget the bicycle riding on Sat and Sun mornings. Remember tonight is: 2020-02-02 20:20, wife wants photos with the clock...:gah:

Order

I ordered some longer floor boards and a 14mm x 100mm bolt, washer and lock nut for the shifting levers to frame. Wiring plug and play is getting me really close, had to cut and move a couple of brackets instead of my first choice of Batt location. EDIT: Feb. 06 Mockup of the new foot boards, design, in house (garage) material, and MUST be strong...:D

Brackets

FloorBoard brackets.jpgStarted on the left floor board brackets for the front, shift linkage bolt should be here in a couple of days, Then to the right side and brake pedal and M/C, :clapping:

Little Things

These little things take up so much time and energy, lots of little brackets to make things work, Front rt side.jpg-Rear rt side.jpgWifey is still upset with it being so low, :gah: Will order the rear fender next week...

You are at least getting things done with it. Looking good, and soon it will be all done. My wife is the opposite, seems she does all she can to keep me from getting things done with the trike, but I too hope to have it all done soon.

FloorBoards

Maybe overkill?FloorBoards.JPGAnd RebelRouser is tabled again, Tabled Trike.jpgOrdered the rear fender, takes 7 days to make it then ship. The fender is holding me back from making the fender (fiberglass) brace's and the lights. Need taller tires up front and shorter shock towers? EDIT: I just noticed the numbers in the date and time, crazy, :wave4:

Don't ask me about overkill, lol, the footboard extensions look fine to me.

Looking good, should be a fun ride!

RebelRouser

FloorBoards in and mock up the shifter and foot brake,HPIM4173.jpg-HPIM4174.jpg Machinist is making the threaded M-14 2. square 1. x 1.25 bung for the shifter brace,:gah:

OMG! What about this winter weather across the States in Feb. Here it will be 77* today and tomorrow, :>(

Busy

Keeping busy between the shift linkage, foot brake, and now the rear axle spacer came in from the machinist, and still waiting for the rear fender and new tires up front.

Wife comes first

If wifey is not happy, NO ONE IS HAPPY!!! So it's back to her eScooter, drilled the new mounts and wire holes, setting up the box for rubber ligning and spacers for the taper in the sides of the batteries, two will be on their sides because of proper seat heigth which will be on the top of the box.eScooter.JPG-HPIM4182.JPG-1eScooter rear.jpg:gah:

eBay LOVE

Just to bring you up to date, Honda Rebel shocks.jpg-Fender time.JPGChanging the shocks for a stiffer ride, Shift linkage is figured out need spacer made, Moved brake pedal inward of upper frame rail, looks and should work better. And now it is fender time, wow lots of trimming and locating, I hope to follow the radius of the outer rim, BUTT!!! this rim and tire looks like "WHEEL PORN"...:D:clapping:
