Tube Heating

Hope all had a good holiday!I have a question and hope that someone can remember because I can't ! LOL

I was on a site in the forum and came across a fellow Stallion owner that modified the heating system by using FLEXABLE TUBING to get heat directly to the rider and passenger. They closed off the heat duct with an attachment (home made) and then had flexable tubing that ran from the heat duct into tubing and attaches to the two persons on the Stallion. Tataaaa...direct heating and keeping real warm. They stated that it worked great! So winter is here in Connecticut and we are not ready to put our baby in "vacation mode" just because it is to cold to ride here! We really want to keep riding!

So if any one has the information, or knows where it is or can remember who did it, please forward any information!

Yes Wild Bill, that the post i saw. is this on your stallion? if it is what did you use for flex tubing and what did you use on the other end. thanks a lot. Great help.

That was posted by Stallion 146. This caught my attention also. I'm not interested in doing anything with the front air vents but tapping into the back air vents would be handy.

for the back I used a tuperware container with the bottom cut out, and a vacuum cleaner hose attached to the top. On the front I removed the front panel ( two screws under the cup holders, and four on the top with the hood open.) and made a sheet metal plate and attached two hoses. If you are careful both louvers can be removed without damage for future reinstall.
