Hi! My name is Ann! I am a hospice nurse in Seattle and suddenly decided I was going back to motorcycling and this time will experience a trike! I do not have one, am curious about your thoughts and what you like and why. I just had a dear friend die and it was a great reminder to not pass up any opportunity! I had ridden for years and sold my last bike 12 years ago and it was always my favorite way to travel. It sure beats the heck out of riding a camel! I am looking forward to this new adventure and welcome any input!

Welcome Ann

I guess the best part for me of a Trike is not having to hold it up any more

After 2 major back injuries I cannot hold 2 wheels up, but I am not done riding

My advice is go to a dealer and test ride as many bikes, trikes as you can;)

Hi Ann welcome back to the world of motorcycle triking. I switched to 3 wheels from 2 about 7 years ago after 2 major accidents within 90 days after 50+ years and 250,000 miles of accident free riding. I realized that something had changed but while 2 wheels was no longer an option,I wasn't ready to quit. I went to a Goldwing trike. It kept me riding,in fact I put nearly 40,000 miles on it in 4 years, but I never really liked it or triking. I rode Harley Tri Glides on demo days, other peoples conversion bikes as I could, and Spyders. Finally after 4 years I went to the Spyder and have loved it now for nearly 3 years and 28000 miles. It put the fun back into riding for me. I hope you get to test out a lot of trikes and see which one puts the fun in it for you too.

So :clapping:welcome to the group.

Hi Ann... Welcome to TrikeTalk from west Texas! Always good to see another lady driver on the forum! I really like my Gold Wing trike. I have driven the Spyder and liked it very much also. As they say - go to the dealers and do some test drives. Chime in here with any questions you might want to ask - these guys are a wealth of information and expertise.

Hi Ann, welcome to Trike Talk from Florida. Like others have already said, test ride as many different ones that you can, we're a very casual bunch here so ask away.
