Here is something to consider. The 2018 has a solid fork and eliminates flex experienced with the old telescopic forks.

Yessir I did... Yup! Yup! Got me a 2008 Gl18P Roadsmith with 55k on the clock. Should last me the rest of my days. Haven't got to ride much due to weather and other considerations though.
