Has anyone shot their own paint job? Have '98 Glide ultra with champion kit. Trying to figure if I need a quart or gallon. Any ideas?

I haven't painted myself, but I have ordered paint for my painter.

He would use a little more than a quart for painting a trike body with thinner and hardener.

A quart will be more than enough.

If this is your first paint job, a quart would probably allow you to do 2 additional re-do's ....:cxtv:

Thanks for the reply, Lee. Quality urethane paint and clearcoat sure is expensive, so I don't want half a gallon left over. Not a pro painter, but have done a lot of painting in my former custom ironwork business, and have done several musclecars of mine.
