I could not believe it until I looked @ the box, yup made in India

I installed them any way and it seems to run OK;)

Look closely @ your plug wires for signs of arcing, mine ran real close to the rocker boxes, I saw 3 arc spots so I changed the wires

Unfortunately many years ago HD succumbed to the lowest bidder, without regards to country of origin, for a good amount of componentry that go into their products.

Not all foreign parts are inferior, but it infuriates one to find out a "foreign" element goes into something with such a high price tag. Especially something as basic as a sparkplug!

Its no secret that Champion used to be the manufacturer of factory installed plugs for HD. Perhaps Champion got too high priced, or they simply shifted to offshore manufacturing of their product now?

Good point Pete,it would NOT surprise me to find out Denso got the Harley bid

I can usually pick out a Champion made plug, not his time:p

As long as it runs good I aint sniveling PLUS I used my in store credit for the plugs;)

We have found the Enemy............AND HE IS US........You wont pay for a Bike or Trike if its all american....., You want to make 75 dollars an hour , But you only want to pay 10 dollars an hour to the worker who is making your Bike/Trike...

Think I'm wrong?....Just post that you just bought a quart oil for ten dollars at a dealer,,,

And sit back and see how many post to say you got robbed....You can get it cheeper at Wally -World... :(....

Dont stroke out on us Bob:p

I am just surprised HD would farm out a spark plug after so many years being made by Champion here in the USA

You are 100 per cent right that HD has been supplied by foreign manufacturers for years

Hell they have been buying Showa front ends from Japan ever since I can remember

Even the TBW components are a Delphi, but made in Mexico

PS, I did not get robbed, I had an in store credit i used today for the spark plugs;)

About 40 years ago I had to replace the tail light lens on my panhead. I almost cried when I read "made in Japan" on it.

Remember when people would only buy american cars.....Then the auto companies caught on to that fact, And two things went into their game plan....Building junk and plan obsolescence......Actually there both one and the same.....It took the Japanese company's to come along to wake them up....And in turn giving us all better product's...
