Has anyone tried to replace or modify the battery voltage and air pressure LEDs to make them more readable in daylight conditions. I haven't found a good solution?

After 10 years and 77k miles, I'm really not seeing the need as you indicated. Unless the sun was coming over my shoulder I don't recall having a issue that placing my hand over the gauge to block the sun didn't help see the readout. You could make a shade cap but then again I don't think it would completely do what you want because of the different sun angles hitting it. But if you do find a solution, take photos and post it for others and good luck. Tomg

Other than what was mentioned above the only other thing you can do would be to have a new lens made without the "tinting". The tint is in the plastic lens and is not something that's put on the lens after production.

You MIGHT be able to take thick piece of clear lexan/etc & make your own in place of; but if you remove the lens on the Stallion you'll see that it's also not quite so simple because of the "tabs" it has molded into it for mounting. Not to mention your trim lines probably won't be as smooth as the ones on the lens now (I think the ones used are trimmed/cut robotically).
