I have a friend who is having some nerve issues and he is thinking about putting some ape hangers on his trike to help his medical issues. What is the cost for something like that? Anyone out there done something similar?

You may want to look at Khrome Werks Website they have a great selection without the high prices. I installed 2+2 wide sweepers in 2014 really like them.IMG_20150911_143000303_HDR(1).jpg

About $310.

I added Twin Peaks 12" x 1-1/4 apes and Namz 8" wire extensions. Took my time and used weed trimmer string to pull the wires through. Wasn't bad. Thinking of removing the outer fairing was scary but that proved to be the easiest part. There are a few good videos on Utube that will help you to see what is involved.

Tripps HD quoted me last Friday, $264 for 10" bars. $40 for extension wiring. $380 Labor. They are also running a 20% off special in February for parts and labor for Handle Bars:) I had this setup on my 2015 Ultra Classic and loved them. :)

On my Tri I put khromewerks 2 + 2 narrow sweepers, bars cost a little over a 100 dollars ran wires external and didnt buy anything but bars. On my ultra limited I had KST mayhem 12” bars installed by KST in Daytona for 650.00 dollars

Just recently brought my new '20 TriGlide home, had Krome Works 2+2 wide sweepers installed by dealer - $850

I really like the straighter grip on my bars I feel sure that you will also :good: To answer your question about cost of changing bars In 2014 I did it myself for less $170 bars and clutch cable with a few new tools total $225 and a harley Triglide manual I didn't need for that job. I needed the shop manual when I returned to the dealer and through a fit about just taking my money, they knew why I wanted the manual. One of the owner's handed me a used 09' shop manual and gave it to me. The wide sweepers were a great help to me and my smashed up wrist the straighter angle of the grips have really worked out.

I would go for that, but my dealer wants over $1000 for installation alone. Not going to happen.
