Hi folks,

I am getting ready to order the mini mights Love Jugs for my 2019 triglide. Has anyone installed these on a 2019 and will the 8 pin adapter work or does it need to be a different adapter? I am going to check myself when I get off work, but was just wondering if anyone has installed it on their 2019 yet. I am guessing it will start running on it's own when the bike is started as long as the switch is flipped to start on the fan already.

Thanks for the help!

Looks like he wired it straight to the battery. I was looking at getting an adapter to just plug and play. I don't have an issue wiring it straight to the battery if needed. I want to add some lights later, with a switch up to the accessory switch area so i can turn them on and off from there versus a fab. Would leaving the accessory adapter for the light set up be better for that, or does it really matter?

I see by the forum responses a lot of people are wiring direct to battery for their cooling fan installations. If you purchased a wiring adapter harness for a 2017 and later Trike and can't locate the female 3 pin connector to plug it into, its connector #325 located under rt side cover. Connector locations in touring manual wiring shows this and the 2019 Trike supplement manual, page A-41, shows picture of this under rt side cover. I had wired mine straight to battery after trying to find connector. Wished I had done some more research.

I'm using that connection for the HD Coolflow fan I have installed. I have not got the mighty mights, yet.

Between quality oil, tank lift & wing deflectors, I have tamed the heat a little.

Hey Michael does that Coolflow remove the heat by the rear of the motor okay?

Yes, it does for me. It blows the heat from the cat away from my right leg & back of my ankle.

In my opinion, it does nothing for the motor. It's function is displayed through the speedometer display when you operate the 3 way switch, either off, on or auto.

Thank you for the reply. I do have Love Jugs and they do a very good job of keeping the motor cooler. I just would also like to remove the heat that like you said builds up around your leg. Redirect so to speak.

If your getting 1, be advised, I believe their are 3 different models. I had to have the dealer install it to flash it with the ECM. I don't know if it ties in the same on a TriGlide.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a 2013 TRI and NO BCM to deal with. And if I remember correctly they do have one that fits the TRI. Good to know what it really does. Even though the Love Jugs do a much better job of cooling the motor sounds like this does a nice job of getting rid of some of the heat that gathers around the rider.
