I was curious if anyone else has had or has heard of a problem with the driveshaft in the rear differential. I'm buying a slightly used bike and cannot pick it up until this has been fixed on it.

Clell a 2019 conversion is so new that there may not be but yours and one or 2 others on the forum. Might try calling Randy at CUT-N-SHOOT CUSTOMS (ad at bottom of first page) and talk to him. By the way he is the forum owner and a RoadSmith installer.

i converted our 2019 DCT automatic using a MOTORTRIKE conversion in Troup, Tx and the transmission is staying in 1st gear. I have to slow down to a stop and then take off again and it starts to shift correctly. The torque light still flashes. I took it to a honda dealer but Motortrike told them to shim the rear end but that didn't work. So now they are waiting to hear back from Honda to see if they have any suggestions.

I thought I read somewhere that there was a transmission adjustment that was required during setup of the Bike originally. Maybe it needs re done after the conversion?

I have to speak with Stubbs cycle tuesday and they are waiting on Honda to give them some suggestions.

After my original problem which I started this thread with, I had another problem. The original problem the dealer stated was caused by Roadsmith not having all the pins in the pigtail wiring plugged correctly.

After they got that straightened out I went on a 700 mile ride, bike shifted and rode great until I was a 1/2 mile from my home. I gave her gas and really got on it, it shifted up to 5th gear and then the bike actually went into neutral but was still showing 5th gear. I coasted to the side of the road and got off. Shut it off and turned it back on, still showed 5th gear. Unhooked the battery hoping that would reset it. That didn't work. Called the dealer and started pushing it the 1/2 mile home. This is a bike with under 2000 miles on it.

The dealer called me back when I was 1/4 mile from home so I stopped, talked to him, turned the ignition back on and it was now in neutral. They came and got it the next day and could not replicate it(of course). I have read of it happening to other people. Maybe this resetting of the clutch will fix it.

after finally picking up my bike from the original shop, i took it to DFW Honda in Dallas and as soon as they rode the bike then parked it they noticed that the parking brake was hardly holding the bike on an incline. they determined it was the parking brake rotor and brake pad. what happens is when the parking brake is engaged and you move the bike more than 30 ft. it warps the rotor and the abs sensor is touched by the warp which confuses the computer and thinks the brake is still applied. although it does shift after you go to zero throttle then move again it is fine. i notice this happens more when you accelerate fast at the red light then when you do a gradual increase of speed. i would like to also add that Motortrike installed the conversion and also they are paying for the repairs since it was like that when i picked it up from the dealer (H&H Eastex Motorsports) i purchased it from. they have both been helpfull.
