New to 'trikes'--just picked my wife up a GW---noticed that the pre-load settings are inoperable (or uneducated users). rear seems very spongy to to me.....Though maybe the preload was just part of a factory wing and disabled with a trike kit--as I read it should be in operation, and everyone speaks about number 1-25. Where are they seeing this also the headlight adjustment switch in the same panel is not working--maybe a power supply issue? I did check fuse and it was good--turned on key and tried/started and tried nothing it seems? Was reading and apparently I need to get the unit on stands as there are multiple shock setups? Auxilary..factory... Are there any adjustment on front suspension....?

Justin, Welcome to Trike Talk from West Virginia.:wave4:

You will soon discover that the control switches in the handlebars and the consoles are easily affected by dirt and moisture.

A shot of Contact Cleaner and WD40 around the control button and blow dry will keep them operating as well as they can.

Make sure you blow dry with compressed air after washing or enjoying yourself riding in the rain or snow.:D

Thank you for the info on the switches----I am seeing quite abit of issues and believe that dirt is just causing bad connections---will try suggested remedies---------------------off to find discussions on vibrations in drive train--THANK YOU!

Do you have a Monarch or a Monarch II ??

The Monarch II has disc brakes and a trunk lid that raises up.

How many miles are on the trike ?

What service has been done ?

How much air pressure are you running in the tires, 20psi ????

How much pressure are you running on the suspension ?

If you call me, I can talk you through the vibration maybe.
