Hey guys and gals!
Can anybody here tell me if the MOCO used the same front end on the 1986 Electra Glide Classics as they did on the 1988? I'm trying to find a set of original chrome front disc brake covers, and the closest I can get is a set for an '88 on Fleabay. They're kinda pricey and I'd hate to lay down the scratch just to find out they won't fit.
I know, I know... Call a dealer, right? Not a dealer around here will even talk to me about a bike as old as mine, much less try to help me find out what I need to know! Can't even get most of them to order parts when I need them! If I had to bet, I'd say most of them don't even have a tech old enough to know how to work on an older machine. Go figure!
At any rate, as always, any information any of you would care to share is greatly appreciated. Someone out there may even have a set they'd be willing to part with!
