Anyone using a car rim on the front of a trike?

I already have 4 rims. Would definitely be easier to carry one spare tire versus waiting on a tow truck to get me from the side of the road.

Plus, I just like the look of a decent front end.

Do you know what happened to that build? Thread just died. I was just wondering about the angle of the driveline. I had a 77 Blazer that had a fair amount of angle and I was putting u-joints in that thing almost dead on every 18k miles. And that was no matter how often I greased them. I put 3 sets in and then sold it before needing the 4th. I don't know if it was the angle or something else but it eat u-joints.

How was your pinion angle versus your transmission output shaft angle? They need to be equal and opposite. Or you can always rotate the rear pinioni to point at the transmission and use a cardan joint.

After several trips around the block with the all-terrain tire on the front, I've decided that it's not for me. Makes the front end way too heavy to steer comfortably.

Looking at an MC tire... https://www.bikebandit.com/tires-tu...ax-cruiser-and-touring-tire/p/30444?b=2812235

I've read that when running double dark on a motorcycle, with a rear tire on the front, it's ran backwards to the arrow. With running it on the front of a trike, would it be ran backwards as well? Or forward?

Thanks.
