Traffic is pretty intense, but that did not turn out to be the problem. :laugh:

Actually, I've been driving and riding in TJ for the last 40+ years and has zero issues with the traffic. Everyone pays pretty close attention and is polite. You can see some crazy stuff, but no one gets upset, no road rage, etc.

My first time riding in TJ was on a Honda SL350, 42 years ago. Traffic wise, felt safer than than on the San Diego roads.

But, I do prefer the relatively traffic free roads of N. Mississippi. :)

I have lived in the San Diego area for 49 years and have been across the border once in January 1971.
 
The fabled and world renowned "TJ Donkey Show" is reason enough to visit at least once...?...:Shrug:

At least that was the main draw for gullible sailors stationed in San Diego back in the 70's.:laugh:

Wonder if its still going on today??? (might be worth a second visit just to find out...) ;);)
