New Old Guy from Illinois

Howdy all,

Just chiming in to introduce myself. I have had many bikes in the past all Two wheeler, but suffered a stroke a couple years ago and lost my sense of balance and strength. I am now forced into retirement and need to get my semi bald hair in the wind again.

I started making knifes and doing some blacksmithing so I can hopefully sell some products to supplement SS.

I am looking for a cheap Sportster and researching for an affordable trike kit. I'm leaning toward the DNA for a "True" trike, but may have to settle for a Voyager kit. (Not sure if I want to go the training wheel route.)

Anyhow I moved from Arkansas after being down there for 30 yrs back to the "Peoples Republic of Illinois". I wanted to get closer to my family before I take a Dirt Nap.

Will be cruising around this forum to get some ideas and will probably be asking some stupid questions.

I promise I will use the search button first...

Alan, welcome aboard from San Antonio, Texas. I have seen a few Sportster conversions that look really nice, but I don't know enough to give you any information. Sometimes a search is not all that wonderful because new products have shown up for trikes since they have gained in popularity.
