While there is no doubt that making your own is best , I make a large pot then freeze quart containers then freeze them.
But there is times that I run out , and that jar works to solve the problem. Been using San Marzano roasted garlic by Silver Palate . Wallymart, Ocean State also has it. Victoria is another choice. I still doctor them up a bit , any one of them makes a pretty good vodka sauce by just adding .........Vodka , and simmering off the alcohol.
Was just curious as I’m still looking for a good home made flavored jar brand.
Silver Palate also makes a good Marzano Pizza Gravy , that comes in a 12 oz jar.
