Well age suddenly crept up on me. Couple of weeks ago we rode down to Branson to check out what, if anything, was going on in Branson. Backing the 2006 into a parking spot at the Landing and I almost went over. My wife said ahhhhh....... Couldn't get it out of my mind the rest of the trip. Thursday we went to a KC dealer and had an introduction to a 2019 Tri-Glide with 9K on the odometer. Called the previous owner to find out the pertinent details of the trike. We rode back to the dealer on Friday with our FLHTCI and worked out the deal. I'm feeling pretty good about everything although I am going to miss the 2006. Really loved that bike but it is going to be nice to not have to ever have that "lost balance" feeling again while pushing it backwards into a spot. I will probably have lots of questions for you all so please be gentle with me...:xzqxz:

Questions are not a problem

Hi Layne :wave4:.... welcome aboard....from the Texas Hill Country!

It IS a good feeling to know there won’t be anymore tipovers. Just today we 3 trikes pulled over for a quick break when a group of 2 wheelers pulled up also. The lead driver came to a quick stop, turned his front wheel all the way to the left and over she went..to the left. He and his passenger managed to stay on the bike. Immediately a 2nd bike pulled up next to him with his front wheel about even with the first bike’s passenger....he tipped over too but his passenger came off the back seat. She wasn't wearing gloves and i imagine her bare hand got the worst of it on the hot asphalt. We were in the middle of nowhere, cell phone service would have been iffy, and emergency assistance would would have been a problem had it been bad. It was just another reminder of why we 3 went to a trike.
