Took the Plunge

So this weekend my copilot and I ordered a CSC Encore conversion for the GW 1800 Tour.I looked around a lot seems like all the conversions are competitive price wise and all seem high quality. Almost like you can't go wrong with any of them. Kit and installation not due until sometime in November which will curtail my late fall test drives. N.E. Ohio weather is unpredictable so now the wait begins.My poor wife will have to endure my impatience, LOL

Update

So first off sorry for the slow update. CSC is a little behind due to Covid 19, Totally understandable. I am in line for the next batch of kits due any minute. Okay with me. I live in N.E.Ohio not much riding going on now.Trikes by Rodney in Zanesville Ohio is doing the install. His communication has been excellent. Shop is very well organized and clean so I have no doubt he will do a wonderful job. I'm sure the call will come shortly that the kit has arrived. Will post pictures and a review when the process is complete.Thanks All.

Great to hear you should be getting your CSC kit installed soon. I'm scheduled for April, going to drive up from Tampa Bay on two wheels and return on three! Looking forward to my CSC Encore. I'm pulling my Bushtec up with two wheels and back with three wheels!

Congrats Al, you'll love your new CSC, I'm a dealer and can tell you that they are an outstanding company. Is CSC doing the install at the factory? If so, ask Dwight for a tour of their facility, I think he will be happy to oblige. You'll be amazed at what a huge, first class operation they run.

Papa Zook, I am really looking forward to the addition of two wheels along with the learning curve of operating it. I have spoke with Dwight twice already and he provided answers to some questions I had. Will be calling them later today with a few more questions on the conversion, based of information located here that were not addressed in enough detail for me. Hopefully it will be nicer weather by April, but I have the proper gear for the weather.

Some things mentioned here concerning the DCT shifting from first not shifting out when accelerating rapidly, on the earlier 2018 GW DCT-Tour CSC installs. I think a thread on here mentioned they worked that issue out with a Module installation. Also some mentioned that the TMPS light stays on constantly for the addition of the two rear wheels, I hoping the TMPS light can be shut off without putting tape over the screen in front of the light.

I see you are in Painesville. I am in Painesville twp. I am looking at going to a 2021 tour with the CSC encore kit. Are you happy with yours? Any updates?
