Good evening! While I am a lurker and use the forum to search for Tech help and such. Now I need Real help! Locked my key and fob in the trunk! Is there any way to access the trunk without breaking the lid to get in? We’re coming back from the finger lakes and stuck at a Hampton Inn ! Gonna call a an emergency lock smith soon anyway. I’m so embarrassed and the wife is none too pleased. Thanks!!

Anthony, I can't help on the lock situation....But i can Welcome You To Trike-Talk...:clapping:..

Anthony, CSC put an emergency release on their trikes. Mine was located up by the seat. I moved it so it was accessible by the right side cover. You may be able to look up under the seat area looking for a stainless cable. If you find it pull it to get in the trunk.

Don't ask me if I ever had to use it! Good luck Anthony!

I was there !!!!

Good luck to you Anthony.

Got the key and fob!

Ok I had a lock Smith out and he was able to pick the lock. I should have clarified that the keys were in the top box that I call the trunk. I still call it that even though I have a real one now with the kit. Yes I did use the emergency cable that the CSC kits come with to open the bottom trunk to make sure I didn’t lock them in there. Now to make some copies and hide the keys!! 😂😂

Good for you

Good for you on getting the lock opened up.

Spare keys are super handy and we all learn (or should learn) from our past mistakes.

Things happen and it could have been much worse! You could have been in the middle of nowhere and at night and raining and so on.
