Champion Variable sway bar question?

I purchased a used Goldwing trike with Champion conversion that is equipped with the variable sway bar option. The prior owner who had the conversion done could not explain it to me. The problem is that I do not have any information that explains how this option works. There is nothing on the Champion Trikes of Arizona web site. I have a switch on the dash that adjusts the plunger in and out. What changes with the adjustment?

Any help would be appreciated.

The left side of the sway bar has a direct non-flexible link attaching to the lower control arm.

The right side has a torsional bar that rotates allowing for flexing when fully extended by the electric motor.

Check to see if the motor is working and rotating the end 90 degrees.

Retracted, the sway bar is operating at its stiffest setting.
