Reverse trikes past and future...

I think that reverse trikes have a definite future just as they have a storied past. Remember the pre-WW11 Morgan three wheeler? The Can Am Spyder appears to be off to a good start and will be expanding into more markets as the months unfold. I saw one and was highly impressed.

Those that have the Can-Am love them, but I cant see doing a real long trip on one. I may be wrong, but I think it needs a back rest and pulled back handle bars.

I expect that in time hard luggage, bar backs, back rests, etc., etc. will be available for the Can Am Spyder. As regards long trips, my Grinnall Scorpion 111, reverse trike, is in a class by itself, though I have no complaints about the K LT/Hannigan. They're different to say the least!

They all have their place, I know, but the only Can-Am I've seen on the road was about a month ago in north Georgia (30deg) at about 2:00am. I know the guy was frozen solid! he passed my 18 wheeler running about 80mph. When I saw it go by, thought my drugs went bad! they are wild looking...
