Riding with the wife and pulling the trailer and all of a sudden I notice ..... no front speakers, only rear. Any idea why? I have no clue where to look.

Hate those mysterious electrical gremlins. First thing to check is that you did not inadvertently move the radio fader to rear.....? Good luck..... Jim

Go to speaker controls in the radio....
Oh sure. I'll just go to the radio controls he says like he has a clue.
All radios have some form of adjustment for the speakers...Left to right -Front to rear adjustments...
Oh I'm sure they do. I just don't know where they might be right now. I will study this issue tomorrow for sure.

On your radio controls there are 2 big round knobs. Press down on the right knob. It will go to bass. Press again and you get treble and the next press gets you fader. Turn the knob left or right to adjust which ever mode you are in. You can see the adjustment up or down on your dash screen. Have fun..... Jim

I ain’t touching this without my radio in front of me to walk you through it and refresh my memory on how to do it.
There is a setting in the radio as to where you can turn the sound to come through the headset or the speakers. You can also fade from front to rear, rear to front, and/or to the left and right sides.
A gremlin changed your output from your speakers to the headset. (Wild guess? LOL)
Texas; 254 counties and I have ridden through them all! Got my pin from my Congress Lady congratulating me on completing my journey.
Do you have a 1500 gold wing?
Saw that. Just wanted to be sure. If it’s a 1500 SE Wing the faded control is on the left handlebar
In the earlier yr 1500 wing it was located here
I looked at his avatar and wrongly thought he had a GL1800. I now see that he has a GL1500. It's been a lot of years since I've owned a 1500 but I don't remember the fader being like the one in the picture. My old 1500 was a 1997 model and it could be the controls changed from one year to the next. Anyway, we haven't heard from the OP so we may never know..... Jim

YEA!!! I found it. I have never wanted to 'fade' my music as I have installed an in-line volume control for my wife and she usually turns it down or off. That is for our headsets of course. But anyway, it is as you say and show, on the left side control on the outside. Gave it a twist and VOILA I had sound. Thanks everybody for all your help. You guys and gals are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
