roadstar rear seat

i have a 2001 road star and was wondering if anyone has tried changing the rear passenger seat to more of a gold wing style, wraparound and how difficult it was. wife had polio and need to find a more substantial support. thanks in advance.

Is that a Wompus Rack you have the trunk mounted on? I'd love to ba able to keep my Wompus when I do the Road Star conversion.

Hi JM The trike we just bought, see my pics, has a v nice wraparound rear seat! It is a Motor Trike conversion, and I guess the seat was added at that time. The last owner had a handicapped daughter that loved to ride with him so I'm betting it's pretty secure. I know it's comfortable.

its going to be a winter project. wife wants serious input on choice will start seriously looking after Christmas. found a couple i like. decent price. extra storage in trunk would be nice. after installing champion kit, seems like the original backrest sits further back.
need to take a good look at modifying it. will keep you in mined. and thanks.

I found a good back seat , with or without driver backrest and studs or not... pull up E.D. Motorcycle seats. they have what u want...:wave4:
