My Yamaha 1100 Trike

LOL--I was just going to ask about a photo. Very cool looking--is this going to be your personal ride?

It is for my wife's Birthday present... She has No idea! We went shopping for bikes to turn into trikes as this is what we do here. She liked the 1100 and sat on it and it fit her in everyway she tried it and made the statement that she felt this would make a good trike. While she was in the restroom I handed the guy a $1000 and said I would be by Monday to pay for it and pick the bike up. This was 2 months ago. I started quizing her slowly about colors of trikes and told her I did not know what color would suit this trike and she said Black is her favorite color on a trike or bike and to paint it Black if I could not decide as this would be a fail safe color also. This ended my decission making quickly. She is getting the trike on Sunday finished
kodiak:cool:

Great looking trike ( you said you built that? ) I love the size of the trunk. What is underneath for a rear end ( Axle )

was it difficult matching up the star driveshaft to ford rear ? super nice. i used the voyager system. i couldn,t find anybody around my area who did the 1100 conversion without shipping away. looks awesome.

Great, I am thinking about doing my 08 Royal Star Venture. Confusing with so many kits and options. I was told not to put the ez steering on it as it is raked enough. Do you know if thisw is correct?

All wrong info:
You have two choices for the RSV. Hannigan or a Tri-Wing IMHO the Tri-Wing is Ugly!!! Unless you are a stand in for John Atlas the rake kit is a must,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I have to agree with kj5ix; The Hannigan is a better looking kit, and it's a better ride. My 09 RSV is being converted on 8/18/2011. If you want my advice do your homework on both kits. Check the internet at the specifications for both kits. Go to both shops where the trikes are built, and speak with the persons that assemble each kit. Ask a lot of technical questions. Take notes. Compare your notes, and then test drive each one. Then make your decision. Most people would pick the Hannigan over the Triwing. The Hannigan is a better made trike in my opinion. One more important thing. The price may dictate which one you can afford. Hannigan does cost more. Good Luck.

I forgot one thing Larry. Definitely install the EZ-STEER. You'll be sorry if you don't. I've read where a lot of people were sorry that they didn't install it. The Tech will insist that you install it.
