Older csc trike kits issues

Welcome! Yes, the drive shaft had problems on the earlier units. CSC used a gear box that mated the drive shaft with the rear dif. That gear box was bulky, heavy, and reduced MPG. There were problems with the drive line spline failure and the early fix was to weld the drive lines together. Sometimes that held up OK. CSC has a kit to retro fit the older drive lines that permanently corrects the problem. I had that installed on my trike last year. It is not an inexpensive repair but is worthwhile. Good luck..... Howdy from AZ and welcome

We had the driveshaft "fix" done on our 2010 Goldwing CSC Cobra XL Trike shortly after we bought it. It had the welded driveshaft done to it prior and I would get a small vibration and it was a little noisy too. After they put the driveshaft on it, it is smooth and super quiet.
