Hello trikers, I am new to the triketalk from Kingsport, Tennessee. I am an avid biker who is also into trikes. My current trike is one I built out of a 1974 VW Super Beetle and a 1983 Honda CB1000 Custom but most of the time I will be seen on a Harley Davidson Road King Classic. I am the Director of Tri Cities Trikers chapter of Brothers of the Thrid Wheel so if anyone is from the East Tenn / Southwest VA area and likes to take rides with several trikers let me know.

Welcome aboard!!! PM skuuter about the Tennessee chapter of TOI (Trike Owners International). He is our contact person there and has organized regular day rides this spring. There is a good group meeting up there, on a whole variety of trikes.

Welcome from Long Island Gibsonboogieman. I was just in your neck of the woods at the chemical plant in Jan.

Apparently, I am technologically challenged. I thought I posted an introductory message but haven't heard from anyone. So I am say HELLO to gibsonboogieman. I am very interested in group rides and live in Elizabethton. Thanks!

gibsonboogieman, welcome to the forum. We have been with the forum for a few years and enjoy getting everyone's perspective on trike stuff. We are a bit tired and won't ride for a few days, we just returned from a 1700+ mile ride, highly recommended. We left Greeneville on Saturday morning and rode to Nashville, there we took the Natchez Trace Parkway down across the corner of AL through MS to Natchez. After Natchez, we rode up to W. Monroe, LA to see the duck dynasty stuff. From there, up AR to W. Helena and crossed the Mississippi River and rode across the northern part of MS and up into TN where we spent the night at Pickwick Landing State Park Inn. Next day, homeward. The only down side of this trip was I got sick on day 2.
Yes we like to ride, camp, and enjoy the company of others. We are both in our 60's but enjoy riding as much as ever. PM if you want to get together and do a ride and meet.
Jim
