DK lift block kit

so, yesterday, I tackled installing the DK lift block kit in my 2020 Tri.... first, I have to say that the fit and finish of the brackets was top notch..... the holes were right where they were supposed to be, not that pesky 1/32" off that you can run into.... installation was straight forward once I figured out how to support everything so it wouldn't move when I removed the old brackets. (note that the left side shock bolt won't loosen up very far until the other three bracket bolts are removed, it hits the frame)....also, the parking brake assembly has to be unfastened and move out of the way. The whole thing took me about 2 1/2 hours, but I could probably do the next one in half that time.

I had kept my expectations low, as I was unsure how such a minor change could have much effect.... (I chose to put the brackets in the less aggressive of the two locations available, as it's rumored that my 2020 is already a different trail number than earlier models, though just try to get accurate answers from Harley as to what those trail numbers actually are)..... out for the test ride! I was pleasantly surprised at how much it effected the steering effort and the handling .... I'd say a 1/3 reduction in effort at the handlebars is pretty accurate, and a significant reduction in the push in the corners was achieved as well.... for less than $150 bucks, I'd say it was a good return on investment...still stock bars...I think those go next.....DW

I need to order them for my ‘22, but am holding off to build up my ‘trike accessories account’. I like the results that you gave. I have the bars and feel like I am wrestling with a steer, when I am steering and going around curves/corners. Hoping it will help reduce the ‘rodeo’, when I ride after putting them on.

I just got my floorboard spacers in and I am ready to get them on.
