I am helping my father in law looking for a hitch for his 2016 champion conversion. He bought it already converted on a 2010 Kawasaki Vulcan. I can't find any information on the hitch. I found the install sheets but no part number. He wants to look for one that was made for it before we weld one up. Any help would be great.

Champion trikes is now based in Tempe, AZ. Phone No. is 480 597-3444. A look at their website looks like they no longer manufacture kits for Kawasaki bikes. No installation instructions or parts listed. 12 Years ago I installed a Champion kit on a 2009 Kawi Voyager.

Thanks

Albert

Thanks I was afraid of that. I got an email in to them ( voicemail said the office was out sick)

My Champion Road Star came with a hitch reciever but no ball mount, but that was 9 years ago.

I'm in the same boat! It's almost 9 1/2 inches from the hitch receiver to the back of the body, I can't find a standard ball mount that is long enough. I bought some steel plate, 3/4 x 2" and box steel 12" long to have one made to attach a ball. I need to find a good welder with a hefty drill, then round the corners of the plate like other hitch units.

If anyone knows of a source for the Champion, please chime in!

Issue fixed.

I was finally able to get ahold of Champion AZ. They were able to hook me up with a hitch and receiver. Still no luck on reverse for the Kawasaki though.

Got a call in

I was finally able to get a call in the Champion AZ. And they still make the hitches. No luck on reverse for his Kawasaki.
