Like I said…..All it needed was to put a few miles on it..
Thanks for your advice sir. Now figure out how I want to do an external breather and I’m good to go.

D K Customs, call: 662.252.8828 ask for Kevin or Dwayne
Fp3 will get the job done and has tech support
Hope this all flies good for you now, just for grins check your intake for air leaks
Start it up and spray some carb cleaner around the intake ports, if your engine speeds up you need to check the intake seals
Well Jack, things are not better. Took it for a ride and it runs good! After riding idle bumps up to about 1700-2000 hangs there for awhile will not go down shut it off and right at 1000. Should I just start looking for a tuner? Thought my problem was solved. Rich
Check for trouble codes first

Checked for codes, found no codes. I even read a post about loose exhaust bolts and tried that. Had a couple loose but not bad. Tightened, made no difference
This has me stumped, just for grins take the cover off and look @ the throttle plate, then start it with the cover off, see how it behaves
Also, unplug the connector to the throttle actuator, look closely at the pins, clean them good with alcohol, apply a bit of dilectric grease and plug it back in
Agree Jack. If an intake leak has been ruled out something holding the throttle blade open a little is likely especially after changing the air cleaner.
Thanks, will check and get back to you
Ok guys and gurus, check butterfly nothings blocking. Gasket looks good. After warm up I can hear it surging from like 1000-1050 and that’s at idle. I think I may try putting the old air cleaner on and see how it acts?
Thanks, will check and get back to you
My 2019 triglide idles at about 1000’ ( So did my 2011 and 2017) plus or minus and there’s no way I could tell 50 RPMs up or down unless I install a digital tachometer do you have one installed? And as far as the surging that is the 45° angle of the cylinders… almost like a Harley Davidson trademark.. Many motorcycle companies try to create that surging sound/feel but none successful…

Look on your LS lower frame leg, I believe the info on idle speed is on a sticker there
There is a metal purge tube on the top of the throttle body. It should have a rubber cap on it. Maybe it was damaged or knocked off during the air cleaner change. This will act like an intake leak.
