Sticky Grips

Had the sticky grips problems on a couple of our Electra Glides. Replacing them was the only solution. Suspect it's the oil from our hands that soften the rubber when we perspire.

I have that problem but only with the left hand grip (I always wear gloves) and it’s from when I dismount and hold on to the left grip tight to pivot off the trike..

Here in Florida, I think the intensity of the sun and oil from ones hands causes the OEM grips to be sticky

Lately I have been wearing gloves all the time with no problems

Leather fringe cover grips work for me . Don’t like fringe ! Cut them off . They make for good shoe laces .

You know’ Frank… i’ve been told as you get older you don’t need shoelaces any more Velcro is your savior…..

My water shoes are the only thing I ware until the snows come . But I’m sure there are others that can bend over to tie .image.jpg
