Just did my first Frankenstein conversion on a Iron Horse Slammer. It had a 240 rear tire and the swing arm had to be custom fabbed to fit the bike but everything went together well. The 74 yo owner (pictured) had the bike since new in 2003 and had just put a couple of thousand miles on it and parked it in the garage because his wife was a afraid to ride it with him. Since triked, he (they) ride it daily.

She was using a small suction type seat pad but ordered one of the wider "ButtyBuddie" seats like in the pic below. It suction cups on to that wide rear fender and it works, not like a Goldwing seat, but it works.

Hope wife is young and agile . . . I'd reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy be hesitant to ride like that. Just sayin' . . . trike is gorgeous and I'm sure y'all enjoy it - just be careful when you're 2 up.

VERY nice!!! I had a friend who rode one of the suction-cup-attached seats for years because her hubby didn't always want to take the dresser... never saw it slip or move even on the twisties. She said it was almost as comfy as the dresser but without the foot boards..... as long as there is a backrest she should be fine. Like the rest of us, do what it takes to keep the knees in the breeze!

I think she'll like it fine since there is a backrest! Those actually seem pretty comfy :)
