REWACO trike RF-1 ST transmission/engine problem

Hi,

I recently purchased a rewaco trike RF-1 ST. but seems like I have a problem with transmission/engine.

I'm not sure if it's due to the rising of the engine temperature or other parts failure, either way I can't wrap my head around it.

When waiting on the traffic light or stopping at the stop sign, the engine stops and goes into idle mode while in the gear is in drive.

even if I pull the throttle, RPM does not go up. I would have to restart the trike and then she works as nothing happened.

any idea what the problem might be?
