Harley Talks About Ammonia Powered Bikes

This sounds pretty controversial to me after the epic failure of the Live Wire

Hey, you never know there are hundreds of manufactures working on different types of go juice maybe one of them will hit on something…. I think the answer is a reverse hybrid make a larger battery to go 100 or 200 miles with and a smaller engine gas engine . Looks like the Ram 1500 truck coming out next year might be that answer…The gas engine is not connected to the drivetrain it’s there to recharge the battery kinda like a generator....

The Honda Hybrid already has a gasoline engine that only drives a generator that powers the electric motors that drives the car. The one thing that was never mentioned in that video is that ammonia is very deadly in its gaseous form. The speaker mentions pulling up to a station and sticking the nozzle in your tank and filling up your bike win ammonia will be a long way from what really will be done.

I don't care what they do I'm not buying any of it. The automobile replaced the horse and cleaned up the environment at that time. So something will replace our current technology for sure. But for a short timer like me I'm not gonna worry about it.:) I'm gonna continue my selfish ways, and try to enjoy what little time I have left.

The future is looking dim.

Given that the kraut now in charge stated in an interview recently that H-D would be entirely electric within a decade, it's clear that management is out to wreck the brand, on way or another.
