UNVEILING CSC'S NEW 2012 GL1800 TRIKE KIT

The VIPER was debuted at WING DING July 6th thru 10th in Knoxville, TN. It is projected to be ready for production in the month of August. As our photos below show, we completely re-designed the body to compliment the lines of the new Goldwing. We saw the advantages of bringing a new design to the market where others did not. It is our belief the riders have been lying in wait for a new look for the GL1800's and our VIPER is just that answer.

KEY FEATURES:

• CSC is bringing a significantly re-designed body to complement the lines of the 2012 Goldwing. The customers have been asking for a new look and CSC maybe the only trike company giving them what they want for 2012. Our new look and dimensions will create quite a buzz.
• The kit will feature an 8 cu. ft. trunk - almost twice the size of the Cobra's current trunk capacity - making it the largest in the industry. The only feature advantage any of our competitors ever had on us for the GL1800 has been the trunk size. This will no longer be the story or the strength of their marketing approach. CSC is now positioned as clearly offering the largest trunk storage capacity for the GL1800 trike market. For those who place value and make purchasing decisions based on this feature, CSC is certainly the obvious choice.
• A Newly designed trunk lid and hinge gives unobstructed access to trunk storage area with an enlarged trunk opening. The riders have been asking for a more accessible trunk. Our new swing out and up hinge design will provide a much easier access with its expanded opening, giving our riders greater ease of placing and removing larger items in and out of the trunk. Riders will find placing full face helmets into the trunk is no problem.
• The Trunk lid will feature a recessed spoiler light adding to the styling and enhancing the safety value. This feature adds to and compliments the new lines.
Specially designed LED taillights which perfectly match the shape & color of the tour box lights - designed in-house and made specifically for CSC will provide a new chic look that will distinguish CSC from the rest of the pack
• Kit will include left & right replacement side covers, available in black or chrome - no need to cut OEM cover. This avoids the extra prep work for the techs and allows for a clean factory finish look versus the just make due approach others have taken.
• Offering an optional 6º PowerTrak in addition to our 4.5º rake for those who want that added ease in steering. There has been an increased interest in a six degree rake and we will be offering the option of both for our customers. This gives our dealers and customers the assured knowledge that in their selection they are getting a quality made product with CSC factory guarantee, rather than the risk of an unknown provider.

I was at Niehause yesterday and they told us that the door was scrapped for some reason and they are in the process of changeing the design of the door to somewhat like it was. Don't know the reason they didn't know eather.

Like the new hinge on the trunk and Led lights. Hope new hinge system, holds up well.

I just got a chance to drive the new Viper conversion on a 2012 Goldwing when Tony and the CSC rig came by my shop last week. Nice ride! The new trunk hinges swing the lid down rather than up. I was told that when the new kit was showcased at rallies earlier in the year, customers expressed that they preferred the lid to swing down, rather than up so they wouldn't have to bend over as much to see past the lid and access the trunk contents. Thats why the hinges were changed. The new hinges look super strong and appear to be made from stainless. They are smooth and work very well.
