Yes I had one break. I was lucky that it broke at a real low speed. DFT sent me the latest revision one's, and also new bearings for them. They replaced both sides FREE. I had to install them, but that wasn't bad.

On what bike is the DFT installed? My DFT kit on my GL1800 doesn't look like that, the reinforcing piece is different.That picture is the left rear bottom section of the control arm of my DFT trike rear.

Mine is 12 years old 1500 GW . no trouble . I will say keep an eye on the rear brake . if you ruin the rear rotor you are in BIG trouble. I came This {} close. Leon told me it is a complete tear down of the rear on the GW. VERY easy to replace the rear pads BTW.
after u lift the bike and remove the right rear tire about 15 min.
